Ron Clark Academy - Great American Teacher Awards
The national awards ceremony will be presented by the Ron Clark Academy and Great American Financial Resources. The award will celebrate exemplary teaching that is challenging, innovative, and creative. The Five finalists, chosen from a field of national nominations, include Leslie Nicholas from Kingston, PA, Todd “Hoss” McNutt from Porterville, CA, Dr. Aimee Burgamy, from Lilburn, GA, Terri Norwood from Los Angeles, CA, and George Hademenos from Richardson, TX. The winner will receive a $10,000 cash award plus an assortment of technology for their classroom.
