Thanksgiving Week Tuesday Teacher Training Mini Marathon (In-service Credit Available)

The Holiday Season is the perfect opportunity for educators to catch up on in-service training they may not have time for during the course of the school year. We encourage you to visit our web-site and become familiar with the professional development opportunities available for you.

For those educators interested in obtaining professional development, the Florida Education Channel invites you to tune in Thanksgiving Week for a three day marathon of our long running original series Tuesday Teacher Training. The marathon starts on Tuesday, November 24th and runs through Thursday the 26th. Teachers will have the opportunity to view programming from the last three seasons with online follow up available through the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium's (www.paec.org) Electronic Professional Development Connections (ePDC).

Tuesday Teacher Training can also be viewed via web streaming by visiting the Tuesday Teacher Training website. The first two broadcasts of the 2009-2010 season are available for viewing, along with previous broadcasts by clicking on Program Archives. Other programs and series offered through the Florida Education Channel cover a variety of areas and like Tuesday Teacher Training are available through our Channel on Dish Network 9418, web streaming, and download. The time is now to take advantage of quality professional development available when ever, where ever you want it, so please check out what The Florida Education Channel can do for you!

As a reminder, our staff will be out of the office to spend Thanksgiving with friends and family beginning Wednesday the 25th and returning on Monday the 30th of November. We look forward to continuing to serve you, and wish you all a safe Holiday!
