Black History Month

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.February is Black History Month and the theme this year is "From Slavery to Freedom, Africans in the America". Throughout the month, the Florida Education Channel will feature programs that remember important people and events and the contributions of African Americans to history, literature, and art. Pleae take this opportunity to use these programs in the classroom as a way to encourage classroom discussions on the contributions African Americans have made to our shared history.
