Invitational Education asserts that every individual and all things, in and around schools, have the potential to add or subract from the process of being a beneficial presence in students' lives. This program will introduce a framework for intentionally inviting student success through William Purkey's Invitational Education framework. Participants will become aware of the four cornerstones of inviting schools: trust, respect, optimism and intentionality. Participants will reflect upon teaching practices to provide positive intentional invitations leading to a positve classroom and school culture for student success.
